The church was in a village near San Cristobal de las Casas, called San Juan Chamula. I found another traveller who wrote about it, so if you'd like more details you can check it out here: http://www.iubik.com/aventuras/indigenous-chiapas-san-juan-chamula-and-zinacantan/. Sorry for the late reply!

I think the most common win is either the coffee or the doughnut, which range in price from $0.75 cents to a $1.60. But in the rules they lump all those wins into one category, so you'd have to get your calculator out.

"so you can expect to win 13-ish cents on each cup you buy."

Wonder what the most probable amount is (other than zero)?

I imagine those things in the water are tires that are used as some kind of an anchor. I was standing on the dock where the boat sits, but they had a group out for the morning.

Do you plan to keep up blogging on other topics, or was this limited to your trip?

You know we all can't get enough Ross in our lives.

Wow - it sounds like you've had a change in perspective. Hearing you describe the environment and how you have adapted to it has me envious.

I have spent the last three weeks going constantly, don't worry I have taken some breaks to visit with friends. I've poured so much effort into the last two days a work to experience frustration and stress over the wording of a single motion for Council. I am used to facing a crisis were delaying by an hour would cause problems - your world sounds amazing.

I can hardly wait for you to be back in Edmonton, but realize you are in a place where you are not rushing! I have changed so much in the last month, and it sounds like you have as well. I can hardly wait get to know each other again - travel safely and enjoy yourself!

Missing you,

John

Sounds like a fantastic trip, would you go somewhere with GAP Adventures again? I'm looking forward to talking to you on Sunday, we'll call in the afternoon.

We got a new kitty, she's black and grey. Norma got an orange one!
Hopefully by Sunday we'll have settled on a name.

Okanagan Lake has warmed up. Had my first tube ride of the summer last Sunday. We get to go kayaking on Thursday.

Love you Lots! xo

No Scientific Explanation? Proof of the metaphysical then?

The zip lining looked totally awesome! Can hardly wait to see the videos and pictures. It is the rainy season isn't it? How has the weather been - too hot, too humid?

Worked to many hours the last three days, did a 3D puzzle of the Eiffle Tower, the deep freeze has arrived, and I am off to Fyrefly training in half an hour.

I've been waking up at 5:30 and in to work at 6:30 to try and get into the routine of waking. I plan to switch to being up at 5:00 and going for a river valley jog before heading into work at 7:00. Hope you will join me in that routine when you get back.

The Executive Assistant forbid me from trying polyphasic sleeping - apparently Ops-Fi tried it last year and he slept through an important meeting. I think I'll have stronger self discipline than that.

Enjoy yourself and stay safe,

John
