The time draws near for my departure to Cozumel! The following is a guide to help my fellow divers prepare their equipment and affairs. Until my flight this will be a work in progress and may change. Please feel free to customize any of the lists to suit your needs.
Precautions
- Register your travel plans with the Government of Canada
- Register your travel plans with the University of Alberta (if you are currently a student)
- Send travel information to your emergency contacts

It's important to get photocopies of important travel documents to give to your emergency contacts, and to keep in your luggage in case some or all of the originals become lost.

- Nausea relief (gravol, dimenhyrinate)
- Diarrhea relief (immodium) and re-hydration powder (gastrolyte)

- Pain management (tylenol, advil..etc.)
- First Aid kit (bandaids, bandages, sunburn cream, ointment..etc.)
- Repair kit (tape, superglue, safety pins, needle and thread..etc.)
I've packed everything here and it should be adequate to deal with the minor stuff. Plan to bring a First Aid kit for your own needs.
